Since five years MagnaMedics successfully develops cutting edge Nano tools and systems for Life Sciences and Medicine. Our products enable researchers and developers in life sciences, drug and medical device laboratories to develop more personalized clinical diagnostics and medical treatments. To meet the demand for our innovative MagnaFy product line in Imaging we are seeking for our subsidiary MagnaMedics Diagnostics B.V. a

 

Development Manager - Imaging

 

Your Markets & Customers:

  1. Minimal invasive devices and implants
  2. OEM manufacturer and coating specialists
  3. Radiologists and MRI specialists  


Your Task:

  1. Identify for MagnaFy new application areas, establish and coordinate development projects with manufacturers of minimal invasive devices and implants, radiologist and other users of such tools under MRI conditions.
  2. Drive the product development process through knowledge of customers unmet needs and ability to analyse and articulate customer requirements towards MagnaFy.
  3. Design and develop applications from concept to implementation at OEM manufacturing sites that provide sustained competitive advantage for MagnaFy.
  4. Lead and establish operation standards and metrics for quality, product performance, cost control and safety consistent and complete with relevant regulations, company guidelines and customer expectations. 
  5. Continually communicate product information to the field and conduct product training activities.
  6. Build an international expert/key opinion leader network supporting the development and marketing of MagnaFy applications.


Your Profile:


  1. MS/BS degree in mechanical engineering, product design or equivalent.
  2. Proven track record and minimum of 5 years hands on experience in the development of minimal invasive devices and implants.
  3. Familiar with CE marking, GMP medical design and manufacturing principles.
  4. Able to function effectively in a cross-functional global, multi-site team environment and effectively interact with all levels in the company.
  5. Excellent oral, written, computer and presentation
  6. Self motivated, organized and able achieving results with minimal supervision
  7. Fluently speaking English and Dutch. German would be an advantage.
  8. Willingness to travel and a valid driver licences

  2. Job type: an appointment on a part time basis is possible (minimum 3 days a week) however, fulltime commitment is preferred.
